I'm sure many of you already know that we are expecting a little girl in November. We never sent out a formal baby announcement. It all just happened so fast, and the time has passed quickly too. We will definitely get Christmas pictures out with the new baby... we have not decided on a name for her yet. But I just can't believe it's only two months away. I am more nervous about this baby than I was with Jack.

But everything is going GREAT!!! We are so happy, and in love with each other. God has been SO GOOD to us. Jack is healthy, they pregnancy is going great, Dave LOVES his job. We're just so thankful to be alive and serving God.

Please continue to pray for Dave's safety while he travels EVERY weekend. And pray that I can meet a good friend in the area. It gets hard sometimes not having a close friend nearby. Hope you like the pictures... Oh yeah, we got a puppy too... her name is Emmy. She's a mini Aussie Shepherd. She's only 10 weeks old... FUN!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

We did something a little different this year. We went to our neighbors house... they go to the same church we go to. We have become really good friends... we are both stay at home moms:) Her name is Shannon. She is my age, and has 3 kids all under the age of 4. So we hang out a lot. Our hubby's got a chance to get to know each other a little better. While watching football:)

Later on in the day we did a little craft with the kids... hence the pictures. Just wanted to show you what Jack made. He loves it!!!

Below are some pictures of our house. These pics are a little old, but I just wanted to post them so folks could see what our house looks like. We really haven't had many visitors, except my brother Jacob. He showed up yesterday... I was upstairs laying down (I have been sick for a while) and I heard the doorbell ring. I knew it wasn't Dave, because he had just left for work. And then I heard the door open and someone come inside. Needless to say... he scared me half to death. The house was messy too because I have been sick and Dave had been gone. So Jacob helped me clean up a little, and then he took Jack and I to the mall, where we met up with Dave when he got off work. Then we went out to eat and came back home and talked for a little while. I am glad that someone came to visit. I get lonely sometimes when Dave is gone. So it was very nice to see Jacob.

We took a walk across the street to Crown College... they have a starbucks. Anyway, they have some nice landscaping, so we decided to take a few pics since it was such a evening. We may send some of these out for Thanksgiving... It's less than a month away. I cannot believe how fast the time goes by. Jack is getting so big, and he's starting to talk. I just love being a mom and a wife. God has blessed me with the best family! Please pray for us we miss everyone so much!!

In one of the pictures you can actually see some of the houses in our subdivision. That's where we live - right across the street from Crown College!

One Sunday on the way home from church, Dave let Jack ride in his lap - just on our road home. We don't do this all the time, but I just had to post this so you could see the little smile Jack makes at Dave towards the end of the video. I've watched it so many times. It just shows how much Jack loves his Daddy!!

Jack and I had a great day today. It can get boring without Dave, but now that I have the car, I am able to go out and do stuff with Jack. We went to the neighbors house down the street. She has three kids, and they go to the church we go to. Her kids are 5, 3, and 6 months. They have sooo many toys, and Jack just loves it over there. He will cry when we leave. Another lady was there with her daughter too. They also go to the same church. We had a great time over there. Then later on Jack and I went to Hobby Lobby just to look around. We came home, ate, Jack took a bath in the sink, and then went to bed.

I know, it's not that interesting of a post, but I just wanted everyone to see what a day was like when it's just Jack and I. Tomorrow is the Missions Banquet at the College. So we will have fun there.

I am so sorry that it has been so long since I have posted. We are finally settled and we got internet today. I absolutly love it here. God is so Awesome. He knew what He was doing when He moved us here. Thank you to all of you who have prayed for us. Thanks for all your calls and help. Thanks for keeping in touch even when we couldn't!!!

Sorry there is no picture or video, the batteries on my digital camera died, and I have not re-charged them yet. Rigth now we are in Nashville staying at a DoubleTree hotel, so I took this oppourtunity to use the computer and post.

Well, I was able to get some of the pictures of Jack sent to some of you all. I am missing some addresses, so if you see this, and have not gotten a picture, it's because I don't have your address. Just post it, or call us. I want everyone to get a picture. Jack looks so cute. He is getting so tall. He is also trying to talk now. I can't believe how smart he is. Everyday he does something new. He is such a BOY!! He loves dirt, rocks, climbing dangerous things, hitting, pinching... and much more. He's a Dare-devil and it scares me. Everytime he sees a pool, he runs straight for it. If we let him, he would walk right in.

Well, I better go. Dave is watching Jack, and I don't know where they are. Maybe he's climbing over the balcony or jumping in the pool. Just kidding. Dave does a good job with him.:)

This is Daddy, just wanting to update everyone about what's currently going on with Jack-Jack and Jael. I'm sorry it's been so long since the last post, but we've been so busy recently. A little over a week ago we were all in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi helping out around the Kitson's new house. I had to come back to South Carolina to sing with Eighth Day and to take care of some of the issues back at the house. Meanwhile, Jael and Jack have been having fun spending time with family and going to see Uncle Jacob with Greater Vision, pictured above.

Just a few more days and I should have some concrete answers for everyone as far as where we will be relocating and all. Keep checking back so all of you will know where to send those birthday cards. Remember, Jack David will be one year old on the 9th of August. I think he told me something about wanting money for college and that he already had enough clothes, and he wanted all of you to know that as well.

It has been a while since my last post. I have been very busy with babysitting and cleaning. This upcoming week, I am going to visit my parents at there new house in MS. I am so excited. I really wish that we could move there. Dave and I are doing everything to try to figure out a good reason to get us to move there. There is just nothing for us in Charleston. We moved here for a job for Dave, and that never worked out. And now Dave is working from home for a company doing graphic design, and he sings out every weekend. (leaving me alone) So I just don't see why we can't just move. Dave has been thinking about it, and we both really miss my family. So we are going to see what happens. We want God's will. And family to us is No. 1. We've learned that the long and hard way. Please pray for us.

Here is a couple pics of Jack swimming (naked)today. It had to be 95 degrees when we were out there. I really need to get Jack a bigger pool. He immedietly crawls out. We were able to get a couple of shots of him in the pool. He gets so bored so easily now. I wish I had a playground in my backyard, because he loves all that kind of stuff. He is very active. He's almost walking too. I definalty have my hands full.

Giving Jack a bath is usually Daddy's job, but tonight I ended up doing it because Dave had some work to do. It was really late - probably 10:00pm, but Jack needed a bath. We played on the playground at Church and he got really dirty. As you can see, from the look on Jack's face, he was very tired. Needless to say... he went right to sleep when he got out.

Jack absolutly LOVES playing with the steering wheel (and all the gadgets). When we got home from church we let him play while Dave and I talked and listened to some music. We sat in the driveway for almost a half hour. Our neighbors probably think we are crazy. Jack kept beeping the horn. It doesn't take much to please a ten month old. :)

Jack Loves Taking Showers!

Every time someone tries to take a shower, Jack crawls over, stands up, pulls the curtain back, and tries to get in. As you can see, we always give in and take his clothes off and let him take a shower too. He loves it.

They're Finally Home!!!

After being gone an entire month, Jael and Jack are finally home!!! It's been a long time and Jack has grown SO much. Grandpa Kitson took these pictures. One is of Jack sleeping on the car ride to the airport and the other is both of them at the airport, right before he left to go to work.

Jack remembered his Daddy!!! I'm so happy. He saw me in the airport, smiled at me and then leaned out with his arms open. He's so big. His hair is so much longer and his little teeth are poking through. We're going to have lots of fun going to the beach, playing at the park, learning how to walk and also how not to bash the keyboard with his little hands while Daddy is trying to post on the blog.

Grandma Hobbins House

This past Weekend, Jack and I drove downstate to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Hobbins. She bought Jack lots of fun stuff to play with and use. Then we went to see Dave's Grandparents, and everyone said that Jack looks just like Dave - just blonde hair and blue eyes. We had alot of fun, and we already miss them. We can't wait to see them again. Sorry there is no picture. We'll be back in Detroit on May 15th, so maybe then I will get a picture for everyone to see. I gotta get new batteries for my digital camera. ugh!

This week my Mom took me and Jack to Culver's. It's always fun to go and see Kurtis. He sounds so professional over the drive-thru speaker.:) Since I have been in Gaylord, I could not tell you how many times I have been to Culver's. They have the best frozen Custard, and the best hamburgers and salads. Although, I think I have had enough. Just thinking of their food right now makes me sick.

Yesterday Jack took a bath in the sink. I was feeding him leftover poptarts that all the kids wasted. He loved them, but got them all over his face. He had sooooo much fun. Everyone was standing around and just laughing at him while he played in the sink. He was talking like crazy. He didn't want to get out. I just love my Baby Boy!!!

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted. We have been so busy moving into our house; then Jack and I flew up to Gaylord, Michigan to visit my parents. We will be here until May 3rd. We're Going to Grandma's

Hooray... Jack and I are going to visit my Parents in Michigan for the month of April. We are going to be there from April 2 through May 3. A long time!!! Dave will be working on the ship, so to help the time pass, we are going to visit my family. We are so excited, but also scared to fly. We will miss Dave sooooooooooo much. I'm gonna go crazy. But I'll have my family to keep me company. Pray for us to have traveling safeties.

Praise the Lord! Dave got the cruise job. We are really excited. The only thing I don't like is the hours. But praise God, we'll be back on our feet in no time. It's great pay...thankyou to all of you who have prayed for us. We love you.

Today was a really good day. Jack slept until 10am. Then Jack, David and I went for a long walk to K-mart. We ordered a $5 pizza from little ceasers, and then walked around the store while Jack took turns sleeping in our arms. Dave spent the rest of the day taking the starter out of our van. Our van has been broken down for a couple weeks. He took the starter to some shop, and found out that it in fact did not work. When Dave asked how much it would be to replace it, the guy said that we were in luck because whoever replaced it last, bought it from that same nationwide shop. It was still under waranty. So in other words, it was free. Praise the Lord!!! Then we went to get an oil change on it, and the special price of $14.95 just started today. And it comes with a free tire rotation.

Tomorrow Dave goes for two interviews. The first one is at for a local cruise company. It's a luxury cruiseline. There's only 40 passangers on board. It's really good pay. About $1,000 a week. I hope that's not bad to post on a blog:)

The second is at Lowe's. Dave did some design work for a congressman or something like that. His name is Tim Scott. He's a republican running for something... I don't know. Anyway, Dave designed his business card. Well Tim Scott went in to the local Lowe's and talked to the manager saying how she needs to give Dave a good job. So we'll see how that goes.

Then last but not least, Dave will probably find out soon if Morris Trio will hire him. They have one more guy to try out tomorrow. Singing full time is Dave's call in life, so we really hope that this one works out.

Lots to pray about. I will work really hard to keep you all updated. Sorry it's been so long. Love ya'll. I will be posting tons of pictures of Jack. I love him. He's sleeping right now, and I am going to join him.
